My latest bill includes a cost for the Essentials Broadband and Phone package plus an additional cost for line rental. In total this is significantly more than the costs advertised for fibre, which include the line rental.
If I upgrade to fibre as an existing customer, do I only pay the £23.50 / £26 cost and not the line rental on top? Ie faster broadband for less money.
And does an engineer need to visit to make the upgrade?
I want to be sure before I commit to a new contract.
