Cost of upgrading my package

My latest bill includes a cost for the Essentials Broadband and Phone package plus an additional cost for line rental. In total this is significantly more than the costs advertised for fibre, which include the line rental.

If I upgrade to fibre as an existing customer, do I only pay the £23.50 / £26 cost and not the line rental on top? Ie faster broadband for less money.

And does an engineer need to visit to make the upgrade?

I want to be sure before I commit to a new contract.

Thanks.

Line rental is INCLUDED in all the latest packages, the price you see is what you pay.

You will not need an engineer visit.

You may need a new router if you upgrade to fibre.

What router do you currently have ?

Thank you Martin.

I realise I'll need a new modem/router - I think it comes with the upgrade, but can buy one if not.

Thanks for helping, Paul.

TT should provide a new WiFi HUB at no cost for any customer upgrading from normal broadband to fibre.
