Had the new super hub deliovered last week, all semed ok, all tablets, phones, tvs, sky q boxes working fine.. BUT the house PC Windows 8, was dropping the connection...
after messing about with the TP link power adapters tha connect the pc to the hub, changing extension leads, cat5 cables etc still cuoldnt get it to work.
then realised the connection dropped when PIA (Private Internet Access) starterd up...
i uninstalled PIA and the connection is fine.
can anyone confirm do talktalk block PIA?

VPN should work fine on the wifi hub. Just to confirm, every time you connect to VPN the connection keeps dropping? Does this affect both wired and wireless connections?

it affects both wireless and cable via cat5.
the problem started after the new super hub was installed. the internet works, but when pia vpn then stasrts up the connection is dropped. i unistall the vpn and it works,.
