Engineer installed WiFi yesterday but still no internet?

I have always been hesitant to join Talk Talk due to reviews and word of mouth but so far not so good. I had an engineer come out yesterday as this was my go live date. I was told the internet can take up to midnight to activate but this has not been the case. I have had a constant orange blinking light from the minute it’s been installed. I have reset router to factory setting by holding button in on back of router but again this made no difference. Can someone please help me get this sorted as this is not a very good experience so far and I am tempted to switch back to sky already!!
