Fast fiber keeps cutting out on tv and phones,
this has been happening for the past 2 days and as often as every 10 mins.
i will be watching Netflix and all of a sudden it will freeze, so I look over to the new home hub modem and instead of a solid light blue light it is flashing red and light blue. This will occur for up to 3 or 4 minutes before it will lock back on to the internet on resume my tv show.
I have tried leaving the hub off for periods of time but this doesn’t seem to help at all.
Is anyone else having these issues? Does anyone know what is causing it? Or when this might get resolved. Every now and then is one thing but every 10 mins is just a joke!!
Hi @Selina5 ,
The router flashing white and orange means it has lost its connection with the internet and is having to reconnect.
It would be worth going to the Service Centre to do a test on your phone line, this will indicate if there is currently a fault on your line. You can also access this from the ‘My Account’ site.
Also, if you have a landline phone can you check to see if that is working normally (i.e. you have a clear dial tone and no noise on the line).
If your master phone socket has a test socket then you could also try the router in there, that would then eliminate any of the phone wiring in your home as being a possible cause of the problem.
