Faster fibre boost not working

Hi

I rejoined talk talk starting last week and it connected at 46.6mb which was about what I used to get with standard fibre before with my old supplier. I thought that maybe it would make sure it was stable then try again at a faster speed but no its just stuck at 46.6 and has been for 9 days now.

Please check it out for me

Hi Giz welcome to the community, what speeds were you promised when you opened your Talktalk account?

Regards Divsec, I don't work here, know little, and have too many opinions.

Hey that was quick😁 So the speed is within guarantee but at the wrong end of expectation.

I would try a 30 minute reboot switch of, chill for 30 minutes then restart the router, this can cause DLM to reset. Don't do it repeatedly as the speeds will likely drop.

Hi Giz, that might be the best it can do!

Unfortunately we won't know until Monday when the team return to work.

Hang in there.

Hi GizF1,

I'm sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I've run a test on the line which hasn't detected a fault. Does your master socket have a test socket?

Thanks

That's OK pretty quick actually for coming back on a Monday!

Think so, I'll have a look after work.

Hi GizF1,

Ok thanks. If it does have a test socket then it would be worth testing the router at the test socket for at least 48hrs to see if DLM makes any changes to the sync speed.

Thanks
