Moved home a few months ago however no fiber line was installed at the the new house. Talk Talk just sent me a new router etc and it went live at the new home.  I am right in thinking a technician would of needed to install a fiber line at my new home?  Therefore I'm paying for something I haven't got?

Unless you live in York where TT provide true fibre, then the last part of TT's fibre service still comes down the normal phone line.

Is you phone line active ?

If so, connect the router to either the ADSL socket if the faceplate has two holes, or if only one, plug in the supplied microfilter and use one socket for phone and theother for the router cable.
