Fibre Broadband Dropping at 2-3am

Hi,

Please can someone help? My Fibre Broadband is dropping out between 2-4am every other night? The broadband won't start to work again untill I have restarted the WIFI hub? 

I have plugged into the test socket and still getting the same thing. 

No noise on the line.

syncing at 80/20 

SNR 4.20

 

Wondering if its a faulty router?

Hi Northwestthomas,

 

I'm sorry to hear this and I'll take a look now. I've run a test on the line which hasn't detected a fault and the connection looks stable for almost 3 days. When did this last occur?

 

Does it only drop between 2-4am? Is it stable for the rest of the day? Do you have any devices set on a timer to come on/off during this time period?

There are no timers on at all. 

 

It dropped out early this morning again. 

 

Could it be a faulty router?

Thanks for confirming this. Do you have an alternative router that you can test with? If not then please let us know and we can arrange to send a replacement router for testing purposes.

I don't unfortunately. 

Could you please send me a router for testing? 

 

Can you see the loss of sync early this morning at about 2:45am?

Hi Northwestthomas,

 

I've ordered the router, it should be with you within a couple of days but please allow up to 5 working days for delivery
