Fibre and Landline Down

About an hour ago my fibre stopped working here's the details:


  1. Phone landline has a clear engaged tone repeating (beep pause beep pause beep) - can't make any calls
  2. Broadband down entirely
  3. Red light on the modem
  4. Tried:
    1. Restarting the router/modem 
    2. Swapped the phones
    3. Swapped the filters
    4. Connected to the main wall socket
    5. Ran diagnostics from the MacBook
    6. Also just checked the phone number attached to my profile to make sure it's right
  5. MacBook network diagnosis says I have green connection to the ISP, but nothing from there


This makes me think this is an issue over at talk talk. Please could someone check and let us know. 


As much as we want the fibre back, a member of the household has a heart condition and we really need the landline in case of an emergency.
