Have to reboot EchoLife DG8041W several times a day as speed drops to less than 0.5mbps


How do I go about getting as replacement router as the DG8041W is useless, speed drops to less than 0.5 mbps  within a few hours, have to reboot it to get speed back up to a usable level.  Checked firmware and its at the latest revision and no further updates available.

If you can then plug your router in to the test socket on your master socket and see if that fixes things or not. It will eliminate internal wiring issues but you need to let it settle for 48 hours ish to see what happens.


Beyond that you'll need to wait for OCE's to be back on line on Monday.


Make sure your TT profile is upto date as it's the only way the OCE's can connect your forum post to your TT account.


Avoid reposting as the forums are extremely busy at the moment and reposting will push you down the priority list.
