Please can you factory reset your router using the pin hole reset for ten seconds, I can then try and update your router firmware.

Unfortunately the firmware update keeps failing, apologies for this. I can send a replacement HG633 router, would you like me to arrange this?

Ever since Iv'e had it, it has been a real problem

Iv'e just taken out a contract for fast fibre going live on July 4th
Any chance of the newer router as I thought I would get one of those

We can send a replacement HG633 or DSL3782 router via the Community. If you contact our Customer Service Team then they can discuss sending a Wifi Hub.

engaging with tech services is a grueling experience. You get stalled, on the phone for hours and hours. They say they will ring back but don't.
I really don't want to be over critical but that's the reality. I could not go through all that with my health.

Received router. Very quick delivery. Thank you

 

The replacement HG633 didn't arrive but instead the  DSL3782

 

I set it up. Did various speed comparison with the HG633.

The DSL3782 drops 1mg download. The most I ever get is 9mg not the 11mg advertised even though I'm not far from the exchange.

Shame the HG633 couldn't update.

 

I go live July 4 with the basic fibre. I will see what happens then.
