Internet disconnecting

Hi there,

there have been quite a lot of disconnects from the internet today so I thought I’d check the service status. This has shown up in the stability check. Any ideas?

I've completed a line test which hasn't detected any faults and the connection appears to have remained stable since 08/01.

 

Were these wireless drops or was this also affecting wired devices?

not as much, but it did happen. My son kept getting thrown out of games. It was your service checker that mentioned the disconnects.

I've completed a different line test which is also clear, no faults detected.

 

Do you have a different router that you can test with?

I’ve tried another hub and it’s still cutting out. Any suggestions?

I've completed another line test this morning and this is now detecting a possible fault.

 

I have escalated this over to Openreach to be investigated by a line engineer and we should receive further updates within the next 48hrs.

BT man came around today and did some alterations. Hopefully it’ll be sorted now.
