Internet speed getting slower and slower

Yes there's still some crackling on the line,  Tested with 2 handsets ( corded and cordless )

Its exactly the same regardless.

Is there any chance you can request a dlm reset?

Currently sitting at 8mbps down and a little over 3mbps up.. it is frustratingly slow right now and dlm has not cleared after I disconnected the router for an hour to start a new session.

Also,  Just an update but I've unplugged my old HG635 and have plugged in the D-Link 3782.

 

However current firmware is running :

v1.08t
Dec 1 2016-11:33:53

 

Speed stats are still very slow.

 

DSL Type:Cable Status:Link Rate:

VDSL
Connected

4295/10050 Kbps

 

I would very much like the firmware to be updated to the newest available and would like speeds to be resolved either by a DLM reset ( which to be fair is only a temporary solution and will only result in further impacts to my services )  or by way of the "copper joint issue" to be resolved finally.

This is the latest firmware version for the DSL3782 router, we have new firmware in testing at the moment and this should be available in the New Year.

 

Has the router been at the test socket for at least 48hrs?

I'm waiting to hear now what's happening.

 

Last I heard from the engineer was that they're going to change out the drop cable to the pole but I need you guys to chase that up

Our Network Team have advised the following

 

The visit from BT Openreach on 05/01 hasn’t mentioned anything regarding the replacement of a drop wire on the line.

 

Therefore, it would be a case of logging this back out. Apologies for this.

 

Please can you provide further availability for this visit AM and PM?

Hi sorry, I haven't been seeing notifications for some reason.

I would like a PM visit any day of the week.

Also due to the stormy weather, DLM has forced us to be sat at 15mbps down.

So I'm going to need to ask the engineer to reset this for me too
