'Invalid IP Address' when attempting to change router address

Attempting to change my router's LAN address from 192.168.1.1 to 192.196.0.1 results in 'Invalid IP Address' appearing under the DHCP start/end address boxes. This happens even with DHCP disabled and also with DHCP range change to 192.168.0.X

Any ideas how to make this (change LAN address to 192.168.0.1) work?

Thanks for any advice.

There is currently a bug in V2600 firmware that prevents this. It should hopefully be fixed in the new version which is currently undergoing testing. I don't know the release date as yet.

Thanks for your reply.

I've found that while I can't set the address to what I want, oddly 192.168.10.1 is accepted.

This is fine for me for now and I post it as it may help others.

Cheers.
