New broadband router - no internet

I signed up and got the good to go email on 29th March while abroad. 

Came home tonight and plugged in my router. Will not connect. Flashing orange light. 

Online tech support and telephone support say they cannot run checks as their systems are being updated. 

Any ideas?

I have the same issue. I want to leave now, whilst in the cooling period. I’d rather pay more and get a better service. I find this so irritating.
