I have signed up with talk talk for the internet- live date of the 27th April. I have had the hub delivered but have no socket go plug into. How do I get an engineer to install a socket in my property?
If, as part of part of your order, TT have agreed you are a vulnerable customer or a special case, then Openreach should be install a line and socket.
However, if your are not in one of those groups, then Openreach engineers will not currently enter your property to complete the installation.
If that is the case, your installation is likely to be cancelled and rescheduled for a date when Covid-19 restrictions are lifted by Openreach.
Can I just clarify: you do not have and have never had a phone service and socket of any kind installed at your address?
