Openreach came and replaced the cabling from my house to the telegraph pole on Tuesday,they also fitted a new main socket. Tests were fine. Internet had been dropping out badly for weeks. Same problem still, signal to the router excellent, download speed excellent when it is connected but I am losing internet connection 50+ times a day.

Have you tried rebooting your router?
Is it windy where you are?
Sorry for the Delay, i have investigated your Service and the line is clear of faults with no Errors or Drops on the Openreach Network.
However I can see WiFi Errors on the Router (WiFi Errors (Tx/Rx)286957/369667)
As such i have placed an order for a new router to be Delivered, Please allow 2-3 Working Days for Delivery.
