Orange light flashing on router.
Possible router fault? Any help appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear this.
The line test has not detected any faults but I can see that the router is not in sync.
I can send a replacement router for testing, would you like me to arrange this?

So the new router arrived today and upon removing my original router and wiring I have actually found a break in the broadband cable which I somehow missed when originally checking it. Not sure how this could have happened as the cables have been untouched since they were installed. I plugged the new broadband cable in to my original router and it is now operating fine. Should I send the replacement router back with the faulty cable?

It's entirely up to you. You can keep the new router and return the old one or just send the new router back.
