Sagemcom WiFi Hub power supply died

Hi,

My upgrade to fibre on 8th Oct. has been working great for 2 weeks but last night the internet stopped working and the LED on the Sagemcom WiFi hub was off. To check if it was a hub or power supply problem I measured the power supply output with a multimeter and got 0 Volts.

I borrowed a similar power supply from another device just to test the hub and with the other supply everything worked correctly again.

Can you please arrange to send me a replacement power supply for the hub.

I have asked one of TalkTalk's OCEs to pick your thread up and investigate it for you.

So the fewer entries you make on your thread now, the sooner they will pick it up.

To save yourself time, please make sure that your community profile includes your first & last names, broadband phone number & if possible an alternative contact number. This can be done by clicking on your Avatar picture then click on "My Settings" followed by:-

Personal Profile > Personal Information

Otherwise, TalkTalk will not be able to tie up your forum username to your broadband account. Only you & TalkTalk have visibility of your details.

Hi Michelle,

 

A complete router kit and a returns bag arrived today.

 

Thanks very much for the fast replacement.

 

I only needed a new router power supply as the original one died and the current router works fine.

 

Shall I just swap the power supplies and return everything else as brand new and unused or do you want me to swap everything ?

We can't send a replacement power cable on its own. Please can you keep the new router and cables and return the old router using the returns bag.

Hi Debbie,

 

The replacement router and power supply are now installed and working.

 

I have just handed over to the Post Office the original router and everything that came with it for return. That should arrive at the returns depot by Monday at the latest.

I did factory reset the router to remove all my custom settings.
