Slow Speeds in the evening

Hello, I have slow speeds in the evening (7pm until 11pm) for two months now.

As you can see on the screenshots the speed is quite low and at the same time, the ping is

quite high. All the test have been done with LAN cable and only my laptop was connected at the time.

Hi vinfilip,

I'm sorry to hear this. I've run a test on the line now which hasn't detected a fault. I can see the speed test results of an evening, would it be possible to run a few more during the day so we can see the difference in speed please and we can then escalate this over to our Network Team for further investigation?

Thanks

It maybe worth trying a "tracert www.google.co.uk" to see where the delays are being incurred.

Hello,

Thank you for the response and sorry for the late reply.

Well, the problem still exists.

Yesterday (16/10/20) 9pm I did the below tests (with ethernet connection and at the time only my laptop was connected on the router).

When its slow instead of "ping www.google.co.uk" type "tracert www.google.co.uk"

It will show each hop including the time taken for the hop.

Morning,

I'm sorry for the delay. I've escalated this over to our Network Team now for investigation and I'll let you know as soon as I receive an update back.

Thanks

Hi,

Our Network Team have advised that they have taken a look and can't identify any issues that would be causing the slow speeds. They have asked if you can confirm if you've ever tested with a different router please?

Thanks
