TalkTalk Router has died (power light Red)

Hi,

My TalkTalk router has power but its power light is red, I searched through the forums and have found that it means it has failed its start up checks (or something to that effect) and would need to be replaced, the router is a D-link DSL-3782 if that helps.

I have tried resting it using the button and tried powering it off for 30 mins then turning it back on but still shows red light on power LED.

I'd call talktalk up but I don't have a house phone and I'm PAYG on my mobile, I tried to use live chat but my phones data is too weak to establish a connection.

Thank you in advance for any help you are able to offer me.

Hi Andrew51

I'm sorry to hear this.

Please can you add your TalkTalk telephone number to your Community Profile, we can then look into this further.

Thanks

Debbie

Hi Andrew51

Thanks for updating your Community Profile.

I've completed a line test which hasn't detected any faults so I have ordered a replacement router.

Please allow 24-48hrs for this to arrive. Let us know how the connection compares with this router.

Thanks

Debbie
