I hope anyone will be able to help, as I am trying to connect with TalkTalk 'chat now' but is still saying 'Connecting' after 20 minutes...
I am getting our broadband installed on Friday 2nd Feb and as states on My Account main page:
Your go live date:
01 February 2019
Our engineer will visit on this date between 13:00-18:00
It's too soon to send your router. Check back later for tracking details.
However I have just received a text message:
Good news. You no longer need an engineer to connect your Faster Fibre. Your service will automatically go live on *****. Log in to www.talktalk.com/myaccount to track your order.
Does this still mean an engineer is still coming out, or are we just getting the router delivered? I have booked this off as leave, so need to know what exactly is being done, as I do not even know if I can connect the router myself??!
Please may someone give me a bit of guidance on this please?
