Very slow fibre speed

Good morning,

 

Noticed recently that my download speed has slowed down.  Ran a speed test this morning and only getting a download speed of 9-10Mb rather than 35-40Mb.

 

If anybody can help it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm really sorry to hear this.

 

I've completed a line test which has detected a possible fault and Openreach are advising that an engineer visit is required.

 

Is your router connected at the test socket?

Hi Debbie,

Thanks for getting back to me. Sorry for slow reply. I didn't receive any notification that somebody had responded so ended up pursuing my own line of enquiry - unbelievably I actually got to speak to somebody who said the same thing and arranged for an open reach engineer to come out. There was a fault with the line in the street and they fixed it so happy days.
