Hi Guys
My WIFI has been going down today and the only way to get it back up is by rebooting the Router. I have tried Switching off 2.4g and back on again but nothing, only a reboot sorts it. I don't have 5g on because it gives one of my kids nose bleeds but that's another story!
Does it sound to you guys like the router has an issue or could it be something else? Solar Storm Maybe? 😉
Cheers

Hi RazzOne,
Apologies for the delay. I've completed a line test now which hasn't detected a fault and the connection looks stable for 24hrs. Is this still happening since your last post? Does this also affect wired devices or just wireless?
Thanks
I think you didn't fully read the title, maybe I should have included it in my description, sorry! Its not a line issue but a router issue. My LAN throughout the WIFI problems stayed fully operational i.e. Full Internet Access.
It was weird because the WIFI devices were connected to the WIFI but they were 'displaying' no internet and this was confirmed because there were definitely no internet on BUT Lan internet was fine.
Do you think maybe someone was DD0Sing My WIFI?
Hi
Probably TT router channel hopping, get the automatic channel changer switched off and then pick your quietest channel.
Hi RazzOne
Would you like me to send a different router for testing to see how the connection compares?
Thanks
Debbie
Hi @OCE_Debbie
I will continue to monitor this and if it proves to be a reoccurring problem I will get back to you. Thanks for your time.
Hi RazzOne
No problem, please let us know how you get on.
Thanks
Debbie
