Wifi Hub Not Connecting

Morning

 

Changed to faster fibre with speed boost and ordered the new wifi hub (which talk talk were happy to take £30 for)

 

However, its arrived and wont connect - just continually flashes amber even after

 

* Multiple resets / restarts

* Changing all vables / filter etc 

* Being left for hours etc etc

 

The old router works fine but not getting a great speed and certainly no speed boost

 

Please can you send another asap as this looks to be a common problem with these new hub's and one i think needs ironing out asap

Don't do multiple resets in a day, @james19901.

 

It will now take several days to settle speeds to the optimum for your line. 

 

Staff can't identify your account as you have not yet completed your community forum profile details. 

 

Please do this to avoid delay when they reach your thread (Monday to Friday).

 

Go via your avatar/name; settings; launch profile wizard; make sure you put in your landline phone number and a fallback mobile phone number; click finish to save.

For info

You say the old router will connect but not the new one.

What is your old router model  and how is it connected to the wall socket

Does your telephone socket have  1 x connection for telephone and 1 x socket for the grey cable

 

What is the new router type model you are trying to use, and how are you connecting this.
