live in newtownards area (BT23) of northern ireland
phoneline still operational

is there an outage and if so, what's the latest info?

You can perform a test of your line from the Service Centre, this may give you some more information if there is a known fault.

now resolved. seemingly there was an exchange problem which caused an outage for a couple of hours
