internet disconnecting few minutes after starting online game. Scam protection or something?

I regularly participate in online gliding competitions. In last couple of days I got disconnected shortly after starting online flight (game). Internet LED on my router goes off, and then it reconnects shortly after, usually in less than a minute. If I connect to the game again situation repeats itself. If I am not connected to the server created by the game (condor soaring simulator 2) I have no problems with the connection.

 

Is there some sort of security or protection that thinks that I am under cyber attack or that I am attacking someone which could cause my disconnections?

 

The situation is really annoying as flying virtual gliders is a big part of my online activity. below is a log from today. I was connected all day with no problems. Few minutes after starting online race I got disconnected. After joining server again I got disconnected again.

Any chance of someone looking into this issue? My initial post was 9 days ago. Today I tried  to use my simulator again and as before was disconnected from the internet few minutes after entering online session....

I'm really sorry for the delay.

 

I've completed a line test which hasn't detected any faults. There were re connections showing on the line but the connection appears to have remained stable since 13/04.

 

Are you still experiencing this fault?

Yes, I am still experiencing short disconnections quite frequently.

 

My setup and hardware has not changed. Everything is connected excactly the same way it was connected before disconnections started. If there is no problem with my line the only other reason I can think of is that my router has developed a fault.

Apologies for the delay, is the connection still dropping? Line test is showing 6 disconnections on the 27th but only a couple of other disconnection over the last 2 weeks

I am still getting disconnected quite often. My connection used to be rock solid, but it is not anymore. Nothink has changed in terms of cable connections or hardware, so if my line is fine the only other think I can think of would be my router beginning to malfunction.

I've run a test on the line which hasn't detected a fault and the connection looks stable for the last 6 days. How have you found the stability since your last post? Are you connected wireless?

I am connected with a lan cable to the router. Connection was not bad in the last couple of days, but not as solid as before.  Most recent record of my disconnections:

Sorry for the delayed reply, we're doing our best in these unprecedented circumstances due to the Corona virus to answer everyone as quickly as possible. I have tested the line again and can see there is an issue with your wiring coming into the premises. This will cause errors and drops. We will need to get an Openreach engineer to look at and resolve this. 

 

The next step will be to arrange an engineer visit to investigate further, to do this can you confirm:

  • That you accept potential Engineers charges
  • Provide availability, either AM (8am to 1pm) or PM (1pm to 6pm) between Monday to Friday.

To confirm you're the account holder can you reply to me via PM (Personal Message) with the following information:
