internet/wifi 'freezing'

Hi, what would cause our internet to constantly but randomly 'freeze'.  We have been with talk talk for years across several properties and have never experienced problems hence why we've never changed.  

 

Recently, last 2 months maybe we've been experiencing an awful internet connection.  Its painfully slow and the router needs constantly restarting.  One minute it'll be working fine then next minute nothing, it probably would come back at some point, if we left it or just restarted the router.  any ideas.  its the HG633 router if thats of any help.

Can you please add your home phone number to your Community Profile so I can locate your details.

Hi

 

You're router is running v1.22 firmware and this was known to have issues.

 

I've updated the router to the later firmware V2.00

 

Try this over the next day or two and see if there is improvement.

Hi,

 

Unfortunately we have seen no improvement and still have regular drops/disconnecting.  We are mostly using our data plan from our mobile phones  Are there any other solutions?

I can see a lot of wifi errors on both channels.

 

I've a different model router on the way to you so we can see if this helps.
