2.4 and 5 GHZ now no longer seamless since router update

Hi all

 

I've noticed my talktalk router has recently had a software update (slightly different interface when viewing dashboard etc).

 

Since thenIto control some wi fi controlled devices on my home network (i.e volume on my WiFi connected bose speaker) my phone needs to be on the same frequency I.e both on 5ghz or both on 2.4ghz.

 

Prior to this update it didn't matter,my phone could have been on the 2.4 and the speaker on the5ghz but the router would still allow seamless integration between the devices.

 

Has anyone else reported this please?

I'm sorry to hear this.

 

Can you try factory resetting the router and then splitting the SSID's again?
