My Activation day is today and have received an email from TalkTalk to say broadband is live.
Router is just flashing orange... Is this normal? How long will it do this before connecting?

I'm sorry to hear this.
I've completed a further line test which hasn't detected any faults.
Have you tested with the phone directly at the test socket, with the router removed from the line? Was the no dial tone fault still present in this set up?

Hi Karl,
No router is still the same orange flashing, phone connected now but with no dialling tone and not taking incoming calls. Our supposedly number just rings and rings!

Thank you. Have turned off the router this morning and still just the same flashing orange light. Will have to contact support today

Hi @William121 ,
The router should change to a solid white light as soon as your line is switched over to fibre, TalkTalk always say that it can take until midnight for everything to happen, so would be worth leaving it until after midnight.
If it is still flashing in the morning then try switching the router off for over 30 minutes and then switching it back on.
The staff on this forum won't be around until Monday now, so you may get faster support tomorrow by using the live chat or phoning up, however the staff on this forum will be able to help next week if you are still having problems.
