Advice re Ultraviewer and my PC technician

Hi My trusted PC engineer will be performing a service on my PC as I have a few problems and it is running very slowly. He uses Ultraviewer to access my PC remotely. He has asked me to speak with talktalk about making sure he can do this work for me. I understand that there is something I have to do on my talktalk account to facilitate this action. Can you please give me easy instructions re how to make sure of his access to my PC with talktalk  - I think there is a tick I have to unblock. Also how much ahead of my appointment I have for new Wednesday afternoon do I have to do something? Many thanks for your help. Regards

Hi

 

You just need to log into My Account (https://myaccount.talktalk.co.uk) and under My Services > Home Safe Settings, turn off Scam Protection.  This will allow remote connections to your PC.

 

This will be instant once it is turned off.
