Asus RT-AC86U router & 3rd party modem

I've got the Sagem Fast 5634 TT-router and I'm using my Asus AC86U as an access point. But that means I can't utilise the other features from the Asus.

I assume I'm gonna need a 3rd party modem to replace the Sagem/TT-router? any suggestions? In all honesty the TT-router just ain't good enough for our needs.

Thanks!

The Draytek Vigor 130 seems a popular choice, you could also look to see if BT sell/recommend any particular modem
