Can I cancel my broadband contract during the cool off period by doing a fixed line transfer?

My services have been live since 09/04/2020. I've recently found a cheaper deal with Vodafone and with faster speeds. I was to do an easy switch as I'm within the 30 day cancellation period. Do I need to contact TalkTalk to let them know or will i be able to request the easy switch and cancel that way?

You would be in a contract with TalkTalk. What speeds were you estimated when you signed up and what are you currently receiving?
