It seems as though I need a modem with my router for the service to work (see posts on subject below). TALKTALK - are you going to send an engineer or offer some worthwhile advice on this?
I had the same issue....one month, 4 engineers and several missed engineer appointments later it just got fixed yesterday by an engineer who actually knew what he was doing. If you have the TalkTalk Hub Router you may also need a modem connected to it....as I did

They should have installed an ONT box on the wall where the fibre goes to (White if openreach, black if Cityfibre). Then the TalkTalk router connects to that via the WAN port.
