I'm struggling with this. I have a d-link DSL-3782 talk talk router. I've got an asus rt ac3200 router which all my network traffic routes through.
The asus is the only device connected directly to the talk talk router.
My xbox shows as double nat so I have been advices to tweak the settings on the dsl router to bridged mode with dhcp disabled and connect it directly to the wan port on the asus.
My issue is the asus keeps losing internet connection every few minutes. It seemingly works fine when it works but the constant drop outs are baffling me!
The asus is set for a dynamic ip address on the wan connection. Any other ideas?

It is your Asus that needs to be in bridge mode and DHCP disabled. As this is not. TalkTalk router I cannot offer any support on it.
I am not employed by TalkTalk, I'm just a customer. If my post has fixed the issue, please set Accept as Solution from the 3 dot menu.
