My TalkTalk router seems to have developed a fault. Every hour or so I'm having internet connection issues which I've tracked down to not being able to connect to DNS. The connection itself is fine and VPN connection to work etc. are unaffected but all my devices (Wi-Fi and Ethernet) lose internet access.
When this happens there is no indication from the router itself (LED stays steady white) and the only way to resolve it is to power off the router, wait a few seconds then switch back on. Everything then works perfectly until the issue reoccurs.
I assume the router itself is the culprit but I'm not sure how to go about getting a replacement one sent to me.
Thanks in advance 🙂
