Hi I’ve renewed my contract and was given a code to receive my echo dot and smart plug from Amazon and the code received states that it’s invalid can anyone please help

Hi

 

Can you confirm you are using one of the following links : 

 

•    Echo Dot 4th gen + Smart Plug: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08K8B6F99 (Select any colour)
•    Ring Indoor Camera: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07Q769MFM  (White only)
•    Ring Video Doorbell 3: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B084B3WQZG (Without Pre-Roll Function & Without Installation Only)

 

Also, when entering the code, check that there are no spaces before or after the code.  Once this is confirmed, if not working, I'll escalate this for you.

 

Can you also ensure that you are selecting the product supplied by Amazon, sometimes the link points you to a slightly cheaper option supplied by a 3rd party.

No problem, thanks. You will each receive a reply during office hours when the OCEs are back. Do try not to comment until you receive a response as this will bump you down the que.

I've already started my own thread on this but no reply so was just adding to other threads having the same issue until I get a reply

Could you ensure your profile is up-to-date with your details such as Home tel number etc so a OCE can assist you with this.

 

@Cathiif you require help for the same could you start your own thread (one thread per customer), there you will receive assistance from the OCE's. Please ensure the above is available in your profile.

Unfortunately this appears to be a common complaint and no obvious help or solutions given. I am not happy with this as took out a contract again with Talk Talk only on the basis of this free tech pack. Was looking at moving on to another provider but this persuaded me to stay. I should have read these threads before I went ahead 🤦‍♀️
