Failed ethernet port

Hi OCEs

DG8041W-2.T5 v1.05t - Not been using this router long, about 6 weeks, but one of the ethernet ports has failed.

Tested with 3 different cables across two different laptops and other ports with same result - all working except this one port. No.4 if that's relevant.

Over all these years with different routers this is the first time I had this.

Could manage with 3 for a bit but not permanently

Thanks

M

Hi Montana

Thanks for keeping us updated 🙂

I have ordered another returns bag as requested, you should be able to get a couple of routers into the one bag.

Thanks

All good now thanks @Debbie-TalkTalk

I've packed up the replaced one and will pop in the post as soon as.

I've got several old ones from TT (non fibre) - are these also acceptable to return to recycle. If so a couple or three return bags would be handy.

Thanks

M

Hi Montana

The replacement router is on its way and a returns bag for your current router. Please allow 24-48hrs for this to arrive.

Let us know how the connection compares with this router.

Thanks
