I'm upgrading to 150 Fibre and have received the router and waiting for BT to install the modem.
I thought it would be interesting to compare the WiFi signals from the new and the old routers.
Having been told the new device would be their most powerful WiFi router, I was very disappointed to find the opposite - the old router had a better signal level.

All routers in the UK are limited to 100 mW, so the latest incarnations do not put out a stronger signal.
They do have better antenna arrangements but not the latest WiFi 6 specification.

This is a noticeably poorer signal though, while I understand what Martin is saying, it doesn't explain why the signal is poorer all over the property, when compared with the previous router standing side by side.

Thanks. I think it's generally accepted that wifi performance is a bit better on the Sagemcom than the HG633, it strange that you're getting different results. I'd just see how it goes when your Fibre 150 is installed
