So, having finally sorted out my reward voucher I now find that over the last week my download speed has dropped from 65/70Mb to 30/35Mb.

The line test has detected a possible fault with the landline service. Is your landline working ok when making calls? (any noise)

Ah, I don't use the land line but I've dug out the phone and connected via master socket and it's dead, no dialing tone.
A line test has picked up a fault, so ill pass this to our network team to arrange an engineer to go out to the exchange.

We have requested an engineer to go out to the exchange in the next 48 hours.
We can check the fault ticket on Friday for an update.
I've requested an update on this fault from our Network Team and I will post back on this thread as soon as I receive further information.
This fault should now be resolved following work completed by BT Openreach.
Please can you retest and let us know if this fault has been resolved?
Phone now working and speed back up to 70Mb.
