Hello Everybody, I have yesterday agreed to renew my broadband contract which includes upgrading to fibre 65.
In the summary of the contract that I have received from Talktalk state a £60.00 set-up fee will apply.
At not point in the conversation, this fee was mentioned or agreed with Talktalk, which took place through a chat system.
Also in the summary says £60 Setup Fee Welcome Credit.
Does this mean I an not going to pay the set up fee £60? It is all a bit confusing.

For accounting purposes, Talktalk needs to record the set up being done, but the credit of £60 should offset that.
It is worth keeping an eye on the prices information which you can find via "legal" at the foot of any TT page.
For staff to confirm that the set up fee was waived, please add your Talktalk landline phone number to your community forum profile details, so they can identify your account, @Gaucho.
Go via your avatar/name; settings; Profile Wizard.
Then wait for staff to reach your thread - this can take a couple of days or so. They reply Monday to Friday.
