Hi all,

Just as the title says, is anyone else having problems today? Bolton, Greater Manchester here.

If I have posted in error in the wrong section, my apologies in advance.

Thanks.

@UITA23! No, it is not a problem to comment hence I had mentioned if you are still having an issue so that we can look into resolving it.

I have! Is it against the rules to comment on another post when invited to?

Exactly the same issue here.

"I don't really understand how you can have a flashing orange light and yet get a 45Mbps download. ", do you think he means historically?

This is the fourth router that's giving me the same problem (Sagemcom Fast 5364), last one was replaced yesterday, and the flashing orange light is there!

Hi @Alecmills

I don't really understand how you can have a flashing orange light and yet get a 45Mbps download. Unless this is an older router than I suspect you have, with that light flashing, you should have a nonexistent download speed. Please can you clarify?

@Alecmills

Depending how far you are from your fibre cabinet & what your guaranteed download speed is, this could be as fast as 79Mbps.

What make/model of router do you have?

45mbps is quite normal for FTTC Fibre65, @Alecmills.

Not a lot can be done to check the router / connection before staff support returns on Monday.
