Fibre connection fault

Please can the tech people check my fibre service as per my profile details.  The landline is working although with some noise.  British Gas are digging nearby….  been down since 10am.  Thanks

I'm sorry to hear this. I've run a test on the line now which is clear. Is the noise still present at the moment? How has the stability been since your last post? Is your connection still dropping at the moment?

Hi @Phile2,

 

If you haven't already done so it would be worth going to the Service Centre to run a connection test on your line, if there is a clear fault on the external phone network this may detect it and can arrange an engineer automatically. You can also access this from the ‘My Account’ site.

 

If that check does not detect the problem then the staff here will be able to pick this post up tomorrow and run some more detailed checks on your line.
