I'm having a very mixed experience switching to Future Fibre, both in terms of installation and in terms of speed:
(1) Even though I had a detailed agreement with the Openreach engineer about an inconspicous new cable route, he then ignored this and put the cable over my brick entrance balustrade. The cable is totally exposed and looks like a shoddy DIY job (see pic below). He also put the grey box in the wrong place. How do I get these guys back to do the job properly?
(2) The speed has not picked up at all. I'm at around 18Mbps download and 8Mbps upload, which is actually quite exactly what I had with the copper connection (and yes, I'm now connected to the Fibre Modem). Is my speed still capped? (I noticed that my old plan is still on my account, so perhaps the switch has not yet been done?)
Any help would be much appreciated.
