Fibre speed dropping over time

Hi, I have a HG633 router and generally I get great speeds. However, every 24-48 hours it drops to 2mb/s or less and I have to reboot the router to restore my line speeds. It then slowly degrades over time. Ping is never above 20ms in either instance and I am connecting on both the wireless and wired connection on multiple devices.

Hi jayp231

The DSL3782 router is on its way, please allow 24-48hrs for this to arrive.

Let us know how the connection compares with this router.

Thanks

Strange, I am averaging 2.5mb/s. Yes, please do.

Hi jayp231,

I've re-run the line test again and the sync speed still looks ok so it looks like it is the throughput speed which is dropping. Would you like us to send a 3782 router for testing purposes?

Thanks

Hi,

No i do not have another router. The speed drop has recurred now so if I do not reboot the router until I hear back from you, could you run the etst again?

Hi jayp231,

I'm sorry to hear this and I'll take a look now. I've run a test on the line which hasn't detected a fault and the sync speed looks consistent. Just to confirm, do you have an alternative router that you can test with to rule this out?

Thanks
