I have enabled port forwarding on port 22 so that I can remotely login to my home PC using SSH.
I enabled my TalkTalk router's DDNS updater and I can usually remotely access my home PC using my noip.com address (????.ddns.net).
But occasionally my dynamic IP address changes and the router fails to update my noip.com account.
When this happens I disable my router's DDNS updater and then re-enable it - that always fixes it.
I have been away from home for the past 3 weeks staying with my parents and could initially login to my home PC but for the last 2 days the login fails.
I've logged into my TalkTalk account (https://www.talktalk.co.uk/my/dashboard)and looked to see if my current dynamic IP address is shown anywhere but couldn't see it anywhere.
Is my current dynamic IP address shown anywhere in my account (https://www.talktalk.co.uk/my/dashboard)?
Or can I request that someone at TalkTalk emails my current dynamic IP address to me?

So I got a bus to my home address to fix the problem...
There is no actual problem.
When I last remotely logged into my home PC I'd remotely shut it down - and that's why I was previously unable to connect to it.
This thread can now be marked as 'solved'.
