How to measure FTTP speed at router, not at my PC ?

Today I got the FTTP installed. The engineer demonstrated 570Mb download on a laptop, but I didn't see what he was connected to.

I would like to see what the router gets, not what my PC gets. My old EE router had a page that showed the current up/down speeds on the POTS.

Is there a similar page in the TT WiFi Hub, but showing the speed on the WAN cable ?

I'm going to try that tomorrow.

Also, my ONT, as left by engineer, is flashing the STATUS light rapidly, which means 'factory reset or unconfigured', but it must be working.

Is this normal ?

Can't you just plug a pc/laptop directly to the ONT and measure speed that way? Unlike xDSL copper services, router never displays the 'sync' speed on FTTP
