I am having issues with my fibre service lately, speeds are fine but latency is causing real issues, particularly on weekends.
During the week, and most mon-fri office hours everything is fine, ping tests are stable around 25ms, but on weekends I am regularly getting median pings of over 800ms and even basic webpages are taking a long time to start loading.
This is on a wired connection, and has only really happened last weekend and this one. With no hardware changes in between.
I have checked and there are no other devices streaming or using up bandwidth during these tests. I am getting really frustrated by being unable to play any online games, or even comfortably browse the web on saturday or sunday.
Anyone have any ideas what's going on or how I could improve this?

I'm sorry to hear this.
I've completed a line test which hasn't detected any faults. The connection appears to be stable and the speed looks good.
When you experience this issue at the weekend, if you run a wired speed test what speed are you receiving?

For one of the TalkTalk staff on this community to be able to look into this you will need to update your community profile to include your name, landline telephone number that your TalkTalk service is provided on & an alternative contact number. This will allow them to identify you, and they will then be able to help.
Don't post any personal details in this thread, just add them to your community profile.
The staff here won't be around now until Monday, but they should be able to respond to this post early next week to help.
