Hi, I've just taken receipt of my TalkTalk router (DG8041W) and I need to set up a device. It requires Port 80 and 2165 UDP open.

 

The device is a SALUS IT500 gateway connector.

 

I've read the Port Forwarding document but seem to be able to figure what to enter. Can anyone help please.

You will not be able to forward TCP port 80 as that is used by the router, I have requested that this is changed as the router does not actually use it. There is a workaround I have developed which is to use a different external port & translate that in the rule to TCP port 80 within the rule.

 

If you want further help, then please include a screenshot of what you have tried in the router.
