Got the kit to install but our broadband input ports are old blueyonder coaxial ports. The TV box, router etc TalkTalk items only have ethernet intput.

Is there any way to connect the kit?

Hello,

Just to confirm, did you receive a TalkTalk router? Are there no other sockets in the property?

Your guide to main phone sockets

Thanks

TT Fibre 65 comes over the PHONE LINE so cannot work with any Virgin equipment, it is physically impossible.

If you want TT Fibre 65 you'll have to arrange the installation of a phone line.

Yes the coaxial connector is on the wall.
The new TalkTalk 65 is working with the previous Virgin router and TV box but they'll want the kit returned.
Is there any solution to acessing TalkTalk once that happens?
I have't used the TalkTalk kit so maybe best to return and cancel?

Hello,

Just to confirm, what service did you order? Are there any other sockets in the property?

Thanks

What service have you ordered? Did you indicate that you had an existing connection? If so, I am afraid that would be wrong.  TalkTalk will install a new line if necessary, but they do need to to know that when you order.

Presumably I'll need to return the kit. If so, how?cable2.jpg

Are the coaxial ports on the wall ?

They cannot be used for any TT services.

You either need a standard BT phone socket for Fibre 35/65/150 or a fibre cable ONT for Future Fibre - Data Only (150/500)
