Internet Stops Working Midnight to 1am

Hi there,

 

live in the Milton Keynes area. I have an issue that the internet stop working from midnight till 1am almost every night. Any help?

Following this as the same is happening to me. No ethernet device to check with, full green lights, dial tone on phone.

Web pages say "Err connection reset" and phone says "connected, no Internet"

Problems after problems with you Talk talk, which is a shame because I'm really.trying

The replacement router is on its way, please allow 24-48hrs for this to arrive.

...the router and Service Status Heath Check are both indicating the service is up and running.

 

Try using the Chrome or Firefox browsers.  Available for Windows, Mac, Apple and Android. And just in case you've got security software running a scheduled scan just disable that whilst testing at this time.

Hi @Trystrem 

 

Does any device schedule an upload to the Cloud or a backup sync of data to the Cloud between midnight and 1am?  Upload flooding or maxing out the upload of your broadband connection can stall the download and delay the connection to websites.

It happens on multiple devices - phones, outdoor cameras and tv for streaming.

OK, thanks, and you get the error message on more than one device at the time? Does it happen when you're doing anything specifically or can it happens when gaming, browsing, streaming etc?

It’s been happening for weeks. I get an error message saying the server is not responding.

Most recently the line went down at 12.21.

As I’m sure you can appreciate I’m not up every night at 12 to check.

Line tests aren't showing any interruptions to your service between 12am and 1am (or any other time of the day), Are all devices unable to connect at the same time? Do you get an error message when you can't connect?

 

Approximately how long has this been happening?
